Build an iOS app for beach-goers to alert them of precautionary measures for protection from sun exposure on the basis of UV Index.
finding UV index based on
1.)The time of the day, and thus the distance from the sun, and the angle of the sun’s rays
2.)The location of the beach (latitude, longitude,altitude)
3.)The month of the year, and thus the position of the Earth relative to the sun
4.) The cloudiness of the Sky.Developing an algorithm to get precise UV index was very challenging. Google Maps is integrated with the app to get the user exact location. Depending on the time and location, user will get notified with the precautions on the calculated UV index.
