Wind Alert!!! is a system developed to alert people living in a high risk zone of strong winds in Timor Leste.
Background:
Timor-Leste or East Timor is one of the region of the world which is vulnerable to strong winds. Annually, in an average the loss amounts to $335,812 and most importantly even human casualties is very high.
Our Idea:
We plan to built a system using the data provided from the weather forecast to do:
- Predict the frequency of the strong winds from the previous data.
- Alert citizen on their phones through text message regarding any wind hazards in Real Time.
