Develop a tool that provides emergency management personnel with an up-to-date flood-risk map for an area of interest.
H2O-ROAD
H2O-ROAD is aimed to provide predictions of future flooding events to avoid affected roads.
Nowadays flooding events on the north Pampas (in centralArgentina) are becoming more frequent. This is a populated area and the moreimportant economic activity is agriculture. Flooding damage agriculturalactivities and generates road closure, rendering entire towns isolated. Remote sensingprovides an interesting opportunity to mitigate the effects of flooding,redirecting resources to prevent hazards.

- Vectorized files of: roads, towns, soil types, and hydrological basins.
