Nominee
Join us April 29th-30th for the first NASA Space Apps Challenge in Bristol!
The Space Apps Challenge is your chance to collaborate on innovative solutions to global problems. Solutions are typically websites, apps, concepts, or hardware prototypes. All backgrounds are welcome. Challenges have been announced and can be viewed here.
The event takes place in the new Students' Union building located in UWE's Frenchay Campus. High speed internet, ample parking, and close proximity to a bar and general store make this an ideal location.
Over a 31 hour period, teams will develop their solutions to selected challenges. At the conclusion of the event, teams will present their solution to a panel of judges to win awards. The top solutions will proceed to compete on a global level. Winners at the global level will be invited to attend a NASA launch event.
Make sure to bring your own development equipment (computers, tablets, etc) and Ethernet cables. Power sockets, Ethernet ports, and wifi will be provided by us. A limited number of Ethernet cables may be made available closer to the event through a signup form.
