The International Space Apps Challenge is an international mass collaborative hackathon focused on space exploration that takes place over 48-hours in cities around the world. The event embraces collaborative problem solving with a goal of producing relevant open-source solutions to address global needs applicable to both life on Earth and life in space. NASA is leading this global collaboration along with a number of additional government collaborators and 100+ local partner organizations.
The annual Space Apps Hackathon
event in Nigeria has held over 3 years, and brings
together teams of technologists, scientists, designers, academics,
entrepreneurs, developers and students from across 10 cities to
collaborate, engage and design
innovative solutions to global and local challenges.
This year will focus on the application of cutting-edge technologies, to local Nigerian challenges through space innovation. We are partnered with the top ecosystem partners, innovators and tool-set providers including:
